The bumble bees are turning somersaults

We have great weather these days :-0 Every tree and bush in the garden is getting greener every day now. Even the grass is showing off! Small flowers blossom and the bumble bees turn somersaults out of pure joy!

Another lovely Sunday!

We've had great weather the last couple of days; sunshine and about +20 degrees. This is the kind of weather we all like here :-) The cats are running around like crazy, chasing bumble bees, flies and sun rays. This is Bekka on the balcony the other day. She almost lives outdoors, in the catyard, nowadays. Oh, she is a lovely cat lady!!! Tomorrow Beverly will be neutered. It worries me - a lot. But of course we have no choise and the animal hospital will take good care of her and make sure nothing bad will happen to our darling. So let's hope for the best!!!!

The splish splash game

Just like Bekka, Battus loves to play in the water. He gets wet all over his thick coat and curly on his chest. Battus thinks he looks smart in curls but I have my hands full in trying to comb him afterwards. He's not that cooperative... Personally I don't mind his curls but we better watch out for tangled knots. They can be really hard to get rid of.

Mr Laser Beem

Battus has discovered the greates game ever: chasing a red laser beem. We brought a home a new one the other day and this was the first time that the guys were introduced to the great game. All four furry friends love it! But I think Battus gets most excited of them all :-0 I think he could go on chasing the red beem for ever and ever... And he gets really wild too, he almost tears down the house. Well, after a while he and his friends are getting really tired and we find them lying all over the floor like flat lines :-)
The game is really good exercise for the cats!

Wow, a bag!

During the Easter Holiday I spent some time cleaning up in the catyard after the winter. I used a plastic bag to gather the autumn leaves that had found their way into the catyard. And of course Beverly could not resist the temptation of a bag :-0 She´s like Pippi Longstocking: full of adventure, playful as few and fearless. You really need to keep an eye on this young lady, you can't even imagine what she´s up to. Beverly has gained some weight lately. She now weighs about 3,3 kilos. Thats good!//Katharina

The 5 kilos club

Truls is growing fast. He has now joined the 5 kilos club. He's getting heavy to carry on the shoulders :-) Truls is the biggest of the four cats. He´s a really cool guy and well aware of that he is big and beautiful.

We haven't seen any Easter Bunnies yet but we do have four playful Easter Cats.

Grooming in the morning sun

Truls is making the most and the best out of the Easter Holiday. He loves running around in the catyard. Sometimes he is even to busy to eat. Truls talks a lot when he is outside. It seems very important to tell the whole world that he is there. This photo is from yesterday morning.

A great Saturday morning!

The weather is great! The sun is still shining and no snow in sight :-0
The cats are out in their yard, playing in the sun and watching the birds. And didn't we spot a fly??? It's also great fun to watch the neighbours in their gardens (I mean the cats are interested, I'm not! ). I will bring out their "swimmingpool" soon, filled with fresh water and floating toys. They'll love it! It seems like we're gonna have a great weekend :-)
This is Truls and Beverly in one of their cat trees. And look at Truls how big he is! He weighs almost 5 kilos now, all bone and muscules. Maybe he will be really big like his dad, Bacardi. Last time I saw him he weighed 7,4 kilos.
