A busy week

Well, it's been a busy week. So today I'm just gonna share with you our sweetheart Beverly. Her coat is getting more and more brown. Hm... wonder where it will end.

A true top model

This is Battus last week. He is a really beautiful cat wwith a coat like no other... I hope we've made it to the international cat show in Stockholm in July. It would be fun to see how the two brothers have developed these last months.
Well, tonight it's time for the first semi finals of the ESC 2009. Let's hope Malena makes it to the final. I guess Beverly will paddle with her front paws on the TV screen as she often does when the TV is on. Gosh, she's soo cute!

I want a snack!!!

Truls is growing fast. I think he'll be as big as his dad. Last Sunday he weighed almost 5,7 kilos. All bones and muscules - so far :-) But he is always hungry. I try to sneak into the kitchen but in vain... He hears me every time and will not miss the opportunity to get something to eat. In a nano second he is sitting glued to my shoulder, begging for a snack.

A lady with a great personality

Bekka has a great personality. She is social but has a high integrity at the same time. She even keeps aloof from time to time. She sets the rules for when she wants to join the others in their games and when to do something else on her own. Bekka loves to play. Like Battus she loves to chase the red laser beam. But other times she likes to sit on her own and watch the garden and inhale all the scents in the air. She often wakes me up with a purr and a big kiss on my nose :-). At the moment she is the second biggest cat, next to Truls. She weighs about 4,5 kilos. Just like Beverly she is very feminine in every way. They both have a really girlish scream when they think the guys are too rough in their games. Bekka has the loveliest coat with rough, long guard hair. This is our princess on the balcony April 23.

The bumble bees are turning somersaults

We have great weather these days :-0 Every tree and bush in the garden is getting greener every day now. Even the grass is showing off! Small flowers blossom and the bumble bees turn somersaults out of pure joy!

Another lovely Sunday!

We've had great weather the last couple of days; sunshine and about +20 degrees. This is the kind of weather we all like here :-) The cats are running around like crazy, chasing bumble bees, flies and sun rays. This is Bekka on the balcony the other day. She almost lives outdoors, in the catyard, nowadays. Oh, she is a lovely cat lady!!! Tomorrow Beverly will be neutered. It worries me - a lot. But of course we have no choise and the animal hospital will take good care of her and make sure nothing bad will happen to our darling. So let's hope for the best!!!!

The splish splash game

Just like Bekka, Battus loves to play in the water. He gets wet all over his thick coat and curly on his chest. Battus thinks he looks smart in curls but I have my hands full in trying to comb him afterwards. He's not that cooperative... Personally I don't mind his curls but we better watch out for tangled knots. They can be really hard to get rid of.

Mr Laser Beem

Battus has discovered the greates game ever: chasing a red laser beem. We brought a home a new one the other day and this was the first time that the guys were introduced to the great game. All four furry friends love it! But I think Battus gets most excited of them all :-0 I think he could go on chasing the red beem for ever and ever... And he gets really wild too, he almost tears down the house. Well, after a while he and his friends are getting really tired and we find them lying all over the floor like flat lines :-)
The game is really good exercise for the cats!
