A big fight early in the morning
The kittens started the day with a big fight. I had to get up at 7:00 a.m. to try to separate them. After a while they calmed down and became friends again. That was nice to see. I don't know what the big fuss was all about, maybe they are establishing their roles. Sooner or later one of them will have to be the Queen and the other the Princess.
This is Beverly, taking a nap.

Bekka, the leader of the pack
Bekka, the great hunter, satisfied after yet another successful hunt. She is the leader of the pack when it comes to hunting down bugs, flies and all other kinds of insects that lives in the garden. And guess who has to pick up the left overs spread all over the house? Me, of course! One leg here and one wing over there...

Strawberries in the sun
Today we've had a nice sunny summer's day. The kittens have spent all their day so far in the cat yard. Today we brought them some strawberries from the garden, just to smell them. And they liked the smell! But they don't like it when I am in the garden. They notice it at once and start to complain, loudly and persistantly.
This is Beverly taking a nap in the cat yard, a few hours ago.

A sleeping beauty
This sleeping beauty (Bekka) loves to sleep outdoors in the cat yard. I'm sure she would stay out there all night long. But we always close the door when it's bed time, as a precaution. They are not too happy when the door is closed for the night but they eagerly run out there again in the morning.

The Butterfly Effect
A butterfly made the fatal mistake to take a shortcut in front of Bekka and Beverly today. And the two jolly hunters began to hunt it all over the place. I am sorry to say the poor butterfly had no chance. All I could do was to pick up what was left of it.
This is a photo of Beverly from May 28.

In show business
On September 6 this cute furry lady and her sister will enter an international cat show in Eskilstuna. The show is organised by the Mellansvenska Kattklubben in cooperation with the Swedish cat organisation SVERAK. The show business is new to us and it will be interesting to see how things work. At the show Bekka & Beverly will meet their mum S* Sjöliden's Queen Diana and one of their sisters.
